Governor elections 2021
We’re holding governor elections this April.
Our Governors help shape the way we work, and make sure we continue to provide the outstanding care and support services you need.
To apply for a role, you must:
- Be aged 16 or older
- Be a member of Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
- Belong to the constituency you wish to represent
- Be willing to declare your political and financial interests

Vacancies
We’re holding elections for 10 public governor roles for the following regions:
- Bracknell (3 vacancies)
- Reading (1 vacancy)
- Rest of England (1 vacancy)
- Slough (1 vacancy)
- West Berkshire (2 vacancies)
- Wokingham (1 vacancy)
We’re not currently taking nominations for Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead.
We also have a governor election for a non-clinical staff governor.

Submit your nomination, and vote
Nominations for all vacancies open on Monday 12 April, and close at 5pm on Tuesday 27 April.
You can submit your nomination, and cast your vote for other nominees, through the Civica Election Services (CES) votes website.

You can also submit our nomination by completing the printout form, and posting or emailing it to us.
