Have your children had the flu vaccine?

We're offering Reception to year 5 pupils, who might have missed the school vaccination sessions, the opportunity to have their flu vaccine.

On Saturday 15  December a Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue van will offer vaccinations at:

• Montem Leisure Centre, SL1 2QG            10am-12pm
• Asda in Cippenham, SL1 9LA                    12.30pm-2.30pm

We are working with Slough Borough Council and the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service to provide vaccinations, it's important to make sure your children are vaccinated to help protect against this winter killer.

Some facts:

• There is no pig DNA present in the vaccine
• Even healthy fit people can get the flu
• Flu is not just a bad cold, it can lead to hospital admission and even death
