Our staff take a pledge against racism

As part of our Black History Month celebrations, throughout October we invited our staff to take part in our ‘Unity Against Racism’ initiative and make their pledge committing to supporting anti-racism in the workplace.

Unity Against Racism is more than just a campaign – it’s a commitment to being an anti-racist organisation. By pledging against racism, we’re taking a stand to challenge discriminatory behaviours, advocate for change and support colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Racism has no place in our workplace, and every pledge strengthens our joint effort to create a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for staff and our community.
In return for making a pledge, colleagues received a ‘Unity Against Racism; badge as a symbol of their commitment to uphold these values.
Karla Inniss, our Head of Diversity and Inclusion said:
“It's been uplifting talking to people about our campaign this month. People have shared their experiences and their commitments, to make us a great place to get care and great place to give care. These conversations make me really proud to work here because they help to make inclusion a reality.”
We’re committed to being an anti-racist organisation, in a purposeful and impactful way as part of our corporate strategy.
