Strike action during September 2023
The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced that consultants will be taking strike action from 7am on Tuesday 19 September to Wednesday 20 September at 7am.
Junior Doctors are also taking strike action from 7am Wednesday 20 September to Saturday 23 September at 7am.
The industrial action is a national dispute between the Government and Trades Unions about terms and conditions for doctors working in the NHS.
Junior Doctors and Consultants at Berkshire Healthcare will be participating in the strikes on their scheduled days.
The safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. We are committed to keeping disruption to services to a minimum on these dates and we have measures in place to ensure the safety and welfare of our patients and our staff.
