We're improving patient safety with e-prescribing

We’ve introduced a new electronic prescribing system (ePMA) that will help make sure our prescribing, dispensing, medication review and administration are seamless.

Our Orchid, Sorrel and Rowan inpatient mental health wards at Prospect Park Hospital are already live and we’ll be rolling it out to rest of our wards over the next few months.

The new system allows remote prescribing to be accessible 24/7. It will increase patient safety, improve our discharge process and reduce transcription errors. It will also mean our hard working staff have even more time to dedicate to patient care.
