Depending on your needs, the treatments we may offer could include:

  • Psychological interventions, such as cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and cognitive analytical therapy
  • A range of pharmaceutical interventions, such as anti-psychotic and anti-depressant medication
  • Social interventions, such as addressing leisure, employment, housing and finance issues
  • Referrals through to other services where appropriate

We may offer to use phone calls or online consultations (such as One Consultation or Microsoft Teams) for your appointment, but we will discuss this option with you.

Our treatments are provided by an expert team of psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers.

As part of your treatment, a care coordinator will help you draw up a care plan to assess the challenges you’re facing and agree goals you’d like to achieve.

We can also work with your family and carers and support them through education therapy to learn about your condition.

Wellbeing and Mental Health Support

We work closely with other community and social care organisations who provide individual wellbeing and mental health support. This includes voluntary and community organisations, who work in close partnership with Berkshire Healthcare to provide mental health, social and wellbeing support and signposting to other services.

This means that in order to provide better support for you and your carers with your health and social care needs some of your information may be shared with staff from other organisations, and a Community Connector or Mental Health support worker may contact you to offer mental health support while you wait for, or receive care from, our mental health services.
